CICADA is a nickname given to an organization that in three occasions has posted a set of puzzles to recruit codebreakers from the public.

How and when it has started?

-> First Internet puzzle started on January 4th, 2012 on ' 4chan '() and ran for approximatley one month. -> Secound round began one year later on January 4th, 2013. -> Then third round following the confirmation of a fresh clue posted on twitter on January 4th 2014.

The whole intent of this puzzle is to recruit " intelligent individuals " by presenting a series of puzzles which were to be solved. These puzzles focused on - data security, cryptography , steganography , internet anonymity, and surveilliance. In the next part I will cover remaining things about this CICADA
